Growing up I have always loved looking at clothes and have been intrigued by how they were made. My grandmother was a seamstress and she would always send me her left over fabrics, so that I can experiment and make small things. Inspired by her creative ways, it led me to love fashion and every aspect of it. It is a no wonder why now I find myself at the Art Institute of Las Vegas as a Fashion Retail Management Major. I am a third semester student currently and I love every part of the learning process. When I tell people that I am a fashion major they agree with me and say that it is a great career path for me because I am a fashionable person. I love art, sewing, and doing projects. Anything that will let me be as creative as I want is what comes easily to me. In life I have always been taught to do what I love, so that in the mornings I get to leave to work instead of having to go to work. My ultimate goal with my fashion degree is to become a designer and have a family owned business. In the mean time I would like to try my luck as a fashion forecaster.
